I was inspired by the "Me-Too" movement to share my story. Unfortunately, sexual assault is not the only horrific act that victims suffer in silence. As I've done all my life, I'm hoping I can help someone and assure them that they are not alone. The iorny of becoming an author, is that I've been writing my whole life. I describe this as little pieces of my life scattered everywhere; on sticky notes, notepads, in my nightstand, office drawer, and purses. I believe everyone has a testimony that can resonate with someone or bring a fantasy to life to help escape reality even if it's just as long as it takes to finish a chapter.
